If you are unhappy with your smile, Dr. Roth offers cosmetic bonding to help you achieve a beautiful smile.  Cosmetic bonding is used to treat conditions such as tooth decay, chipped teeth and to close the spaces and gaps between your teeth.

Sometimes there are areas near the gum-line where a portion of the root has been exposed due to receding gums. These exposed areas can be quite sensitive or unsightly.  Dr. Roth will evaluate your smile to determine if cosmetic bonding is the right solution for you.

The revolutionary process of cosmetic bonding allows Dr. Roth to “bond” a tooth colored material known as composite resin to the tooth in order to correct various conditions or defects. Once the material is applied, a curing light is used to harden the material and finalize the bonding process.  Dr. Roth is able to very closely match the color of the bonding material to your natural tooth color so that it will not be visible to others.

Composite is a durable material and suitable for many conditions, but it does not resist staining as well as porcelain and is not as strong as porcelain. In certain situations, porcelain veneers or crowns will be a better treatment choice than composite bonding.

Call to schedule a consultation with Dr. Roth to determine if you are a candidate for cosmetic bonding.
